Gyeonggi-do Certifies 60 Excellent Job-Creating Companies This Year... 29 Benefits Offered
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Job Foundation are recruiting companies to participate in this year's 'Excellent Job Creation Company Certification' until the 9th of next month.
The Excellent Job Creation Company Certification is a program in which Gyeonggi Province selects outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the province that excel in job creation, retention, and growth potential, providing 29 benefits including support for improving employment conditions and additional points when applying for SME development funds.
The certification is valid for two years, and companies that meet the job growth rate requirements can extend it once for an additional two years.
This year, Gyeonggi Province will select around 60 companies through document review, on-site inspections, and evaluation by the selection committee.
Last year, Gyeonggi Province newly certified a total of 72 companies. Among them, 19 excellent companies received a total of 610 million KRW in employment environment improvement project funds to enhance worker welfare.
Starting this year, to improve the completeness of the program, Gyeonggi Province has improved evaluation criteria through advisory meetings with labor attorneys and job field experts, and provides labor attorney consulting services to companies that fail certification to analyze and address issues, supporting them to reapply the following year.

An Chi-kwon, Director of the Job Economy Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "We appreciate the efforts of companies that contributed to job creation despite difficult conditions such as COVID-19, rising prices, and economic recession," and emphasized, "Going forward, Gyeonggi Province will provide 'more and better' benefits to excellent job creation companies to support continuous employment creation and growth."
