As They Speak, As They Think... Gumi-si Holds 'Youth Embrace Dreams' Commemorative Event

On the 13th, Gumi City in Gyeongbuk held an event to commemorate Youth Month and Coming-of-Age Day at the grassy plaza of Geumosan Provincial Park in 2023.
Hosted by Gumi City and organized by Bright World for Youth, the event was held under the theme "Youth Dreams Immerse," aiming to collectively support the dreams of youth. Various experience booths featuring youth clubs, celebratory performances, a commemorative ceremony, and a club competition were held.
In the first part, about 14 experience booths including a special exhibition for Coming-of-Age Day, a Fourth Industrial Revolution special exhibition, and club booths were operated. In particular, the SNS certification shot event for the experience booths received enthusiastic responses from the youth.
In the second part's commemorative ceremony, a special invited performance and a youth orchestra performance kicked off the event, followed by awards for exemplary youth and contributors to youth development, and a congratulatory ceremony.
In the final event, the youth club competition, a total of 22 clubs participated, showcasing talents honed through club activities such as dance, acoustic music, samulnori, and rap.
This event, held for the first time in four years, was a festival featuring various youth clubs, adding significance as a festival for youth. Citizens of Gumi were able to visit the venue and enjoy a variety of sights and experiences.
