‘Prize Money Leader’ Park Ji-young is on a winning march.
On the 12th, Park Ji-young shot a 6-under-par 66 in the first round of the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship (total prize money 800 million KRW) held at Suwon Country Club New Course (par 72, 6,586 yards) in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, dominating the top of the leaderboard. Lim Jin-hee, Seo Eo-jin, Choi Ye-bon, and Go Ji-won joined this group, engaging in a fierce battle for the lead.

Park Ji-young displayed perfect play with six birdies and no bogeys. She reduced her score by four strokes on the front nine with birdies on holes 12, 14, 16, and 18, then added two more birdies on holes 6 and 9 on the back nine. Park Ji-young is tied for the lead by one stroke, aiming for her second win of the season and sixth career victory, five months after winning the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open last December.

Major KLPGA Championship winner Lee Da-yeon is eyeing a comeback from a tie for 6th place, one stroke behind (5-under-par 67). Choi Eun-woo, Jang Soo-yeon, and Son Ye-bin are also tied for 6th. Park Hyun-kyung is tied for 12th place (4-under-par 68), while the season opener champion Lee Ye-won, rookie Bang Shin-sil, Cho Ah-yeon, and Lee Ga-young are tied for 17th place (3-under-par 69). Park Min-ji, who is challenging for a third consecutive tournament win, is tied for 25th place (2-under-par 70), hoping to climb the ranks. Lee Bo-mi is also tied for 25th place.
