The consultation was organized as a meeting place between purchasing officers from 69 departments including the city hall, affiliated organizations, the education office, and schools, and representatives from 23 social economy enterprises active in the region.
At the site, booths promoting and selling products and services of social economy enterprises were also operated. At the booths, customized one-on-one purchase consultations between public institutions and local social economy enterprises facilitated public-private linked sales support.
A total of 68 customized consultations were conducted between participating companies and public market demanders (institutions) on the day.
Sejong City aims to enable the public sector to prioritize purchasing social economy enterprise products and services worth 7.8 billion KRW this year, using the consultation as an opportunity.
