KB Bukopin Bank and Indika Group Join Hands to Revitalize Electric Vehicle Ecosystem

View original imageKB Kookmin Bank announced on the 12th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indonesia's KB Bukopin Bank and local energy company Indika Energy Group to revitalize the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.
The MOU signing ceremony was held on the 11th at the St. Regis Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, as an official event of the 'K-Finance Week' commemorating the 50th anniversary of Korea-Indonesia diplomatic relations. Key figures attending the ceremony included Lee Bok-hyun, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, Lee Jae-geun, President of KB Kookmin Bank, Kim Ki-hwan, CEO of KB Insurance, Lee Yoo-yeol, President of KB Bukopin Bank, and Arsat Rasit, Chairman of Indika Energy Group.
Through this MOU, KB Bukopin Bank plans to actively cooperate in providing various financial supports related to Indika Group’s electric vehicle business, including the introduction of equipment necessary for electric vehicle operation, financial support for electric vehicle buyers, installation of electric vehicle charging stations, promotion of electric vehicle adoption, and battery recycling.
In his congratulatory speech, Governor Lee said, "I hope that through continuous and close cooperation between the two companies, they will achieve a unique position in the Indonesian electric vehicle market and related financial markets."
