PCAO Conducts Search and Seizure of Former Minister Song Young-moo and Ministry of National Defense for 'Forced False Signature'
The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit (Gong-su-cheo) launched a forced investigation on the 12th after detecting circumstances in which former Minister of National Defense Song Young-moo allegedly coerced employees into signing false documents related to the 'martial law document' during the Park Geun-hye administration.

Former Minister Song is accused of abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights for allegedly having his subordinates create and sign a document denying the existence of reports that he had stated there was "no legal problem" regarding the martial law review document prepared by the Republic of Korea Army's Defense Security Command (now the Defense Counterintelligence Command) in July 2018 during the Park Geun-hye administration.
