70s Man Who Went to Collect Waste Found Dead in Wastewater Treatment Facility
A woman in her 70s who went to collect waste paper fell into a sewage treatment facility inside a building and died, leading her family to file a lawsuit against the building owner on charges of negligent homicide.
According to Sasang Police Station on the 11th, A, who went out to collect waste paper on March 17, did not return home by night, prompting her family to report her missing to the police.
The police confirmed through CCTV footage that A entered the sewage treatment facility while collecting waste paper in a commercial building in Sasang-gu, Busan, and conducted a search the next day, discovering A deceased in the sewage treatment facility.
Subsequently, A's family filed a complaint against the building owner, claiming that the accident occurred due to the owner's failure to fulfill safety management responsibilities.
