HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Trio Joins Ecosystem Restoration Project... Signs Conservation Agreement for Bukhansan
Three HD Hyundai construction machinery companies are actively participating in sustainable ecosystem restoration projects to realize carbon neutrality values.
On the 11th, the three HD Hyundai construction machinery companies announced that they signed a business agreement with the Korea National Park Service at the HD Hyundai Global R&D Center in Pangyo, Seongnam City, to preserve the ecology of the Uiryeong Trail in Bukhansan National Park.
On the 10th (Wednesday), HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Division and the Korea National Park Service held a business agreement ceremony for the ecological conservation of the Uiryeong Trail in Bukhansan National Park. View original imageHD Hyundai Site Solutions, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, and HD Hyundai Infracore will support 100 million KRW annually, totaling 500 million KRW by 2027, under this agreement. They will assist in the preservation and restoration of the Uiryeong Trail, including ▲backfilling and compacting eroded trails ▲ecological monitoring ▲strengthening the function of ecological corridors.
Additionally, employees will directly participate in removing invasive species that disrupt the ecosystem and conduct environmental cleanup activities. Various exploration services will also be provided, such as nature interpretation programs for citizens and safety classes for mountain wheelchairs for people with physical disabilities.
This agreement holds greater significance as a public-private cooperation to achieve carbon neutrality. The three HD Hyundai construction machinery companies plan to expand their ESG management activities through this national park conservation project.
