A 20-Year-Old Public Official from Wonju, Gangwon, Dies in Fall at Geoje Business Trip Site
A female Grade 9 public official from Wonju-si, Gangwon, who was on a business trip to Geoje, Gyeongnam, fell from the 14th floor of her accommodation and died around 10 a.m. on the 10th.
According to the police, A and three others visited Busan and Gyeongnam from the 8th to investigate high-amount tax delinquents and encourage payment.
On the morning of the last day of the business trip, when the travelers gathered in the lobby to check out of a resort in Ilun-myeon, Geoje-si, A reportedly went back up to the accommodation to organize her personal belongings and fell.
She was transported to a nearby hospital by firefighters who responded after the accident, but she eventually passed away.
