Regular Donation of 150 Million KRW to Vulnerable Children
Miryang City in Gyeongnam held a sponsorship agreement ceremony on the 10th with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters to support children from vulnerable groups.

Last year, the Green Umbrella Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, with the support of the Gyeongnam Eastern Sponsorship Association, sponsored 136 vulnerable children in Miryang City with 150 million KRW, and in 2022 alone, provided support worth approximately 320 million KRW. In addition to cash support, medical and housing expenses were provided to children in urgent need.
Jung Eun-hee, head of the Gyeongnam headquarters, said, “The Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation was established in 1948, starting with relief efforts for war orphans, and has been active as a leading organization advocating for children’s rights. We hope this agreement will help the healthy growth of children in Miryang City.”
