Vice Minister Kang was born in 1965 and completed his studies in Electrical Engineering at Ulsan University. He passed the 29th Technical Examination and has served as Director of the Trade and Investment Office, Director of the Industrial Policy Office, and Director of the Energy Industry Office at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Since May of last year, he has been serving as the Industrial Policy Secretary at the Presidential Office.
