Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency will invite over 1,000 domestic and international buyers, the largest number ever, to the 'Korea Excellent Products Exhibition (G-FAIR KOREA 2023),' the largest comprehensive exhibition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Korea, held this October.
G-FAIR KOREA 2023 is organized by the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), hosted by Gyeonggi Province, and will take place over three days from October 26 to 28 at the Ilsan KINTEX Exhibition Center.
This year marks the 26th edition of Korea's representative comprehensive exhibition specialized for SMEs.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency is hosting this year's exhibition in collaboration with its overseas offices, the Gyeonggi Business Centers (GBC) located in nine countries including the U.S. and China, as well as KOTRA, the Korea International Trade Association, and the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (OKTA).
Notably, this year the number of buyer invitation countries will expand from 41 last year to a record high of 60 countries. Additionally, domestic buyers, including MDs from department stores, home shopping, and online platforms, will be increased to 400 to support marketing for domestic companies.
Furthermore, various programs such as IR pitching and investment briefings will be added to create opportunities not only for consumer goods and manufacturing but also for companies in future industries.
As of the 30th of last month, the first round of pre-registrations for the exhibition reached 144 companies, a 108% increase compared to last year.
