Busan Office of Education Implements Customized Psychological Counseling Program for Parents
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate a customized psychological counseling program for parents until November to enhance children's adaptation to school life by activating communication between parents and children.
This program is designed to help parents who are experiencing various psychological and emotional difficulties such as child-rearing issues related to difficulties in adapting to school life, communication problems within the family, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and job stress.
The Busan Office of Education is accepting recommendations for parents in urgent need of counseling from schools at all levels until the 17th. Selected parents will receive counseling at five specialized counseling institutions in the Busan area, divided by region, close to their schools.
Parents will undergo various psychological tests, including face-to-face counseling with psychological counseling experts, multidimensional personality tests, sentence completion tests, and parental child-rearing attitude tests.
The Office of Education plans to operate counseling by applying psychological counseling techniques suitable for the difficulties faced by the parents to resolve psychological and emotional problems.
