New COVID-19 Cases at 23,521... Increase of About 3,000 Compared to Last Week (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 10th that there were 23,521 new COVID-19 cases (cumulative total of 31,331,112). This is the highest number since January 28 (23,591 cases).
The number of new cases on this day increased by 1,840 compared to the previous day (20,681) and by 3,328 compared to a week ago (20,193).
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized was 151, an increase of 9 from the previous day.
There were 23 new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the cumulative total to 34,571 (fatality rate 0.11%).
