Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital Selected as Top Hospital in Stroke Registry Project
Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital (Director Park Nam-hee) was recently announced on the 9th as being selected as the 'Best Hospital for the 2023 Stroke Registry Project' at the 2023 Spring Scientific Meeting of the Korean Stroke Society.
The Stroke Registry Project is an initiative aimed at collecting data on acute stroke and transient ischemic attack patients in Korea to monitor and improve the quality of stroke care in the country.
The stroke team at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital boasts outstanding capabilities, having received the 'WSO Angels Award' presented by the World Stroke Organization and the European Stroke Organization.
Additionally, the Cerebrovascular Center participates in various government projects based on its excellent research capabilities, including the 'Critical Care Specialized Big Data Construction and AI-based CDSS Development Project' and the 'Korea Health Industry Development Institute Digital Healthcare Medical Device Demonstration Support Project.'
Moreover, Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital has achieved excellent results, such as receiving the highest grade for nine consecutive times in the acute stroke adequacy evaluation conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
