New COVID-19 Cases at 21,681... Increase of About 5,900 Compared to Last Week (Update)
Amid the recent outbreak of respiratory infectious diseases, the number of new COVID-19 cases increased by nearly 6,000 within a week as of the 9th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight on that day, 21,681 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 31,285,910. The number of new cases on this day increased by 5,945 compared to a week earlier on the 2nd (15,736 cases).
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 142, an increase of 5 from the previous day.
