Daesin Financial Group Donates to Ulsan University Development Fund... "Fostering Future Talent"
Daishin Financial Group announced on the 9th that it has donated a development fund to Ulsan University.
According to Daishin Securities, Lee Yir-yong, Chairman of Daishin Financial Group, delivered the development fund at Ulsan University located in Nam-gu, Ulsan City, with President Oh Yeon-cheon in attendance. The fund will be used as a development fund for the Graduate School of Education to improve educational conditions and foster educators, including academic research expenses and scholarship projects.
Since 2000, Daishin Financial Group has continued its donation activities to nurture future talents by providing development funds to six universities in the Yeongnam region?Pusan National University, Dong-A University, Ulsan University, Gyeongnam National University, Kyungpook National University, Yeungnam University?as well as Korea University and Dongshin University.
Chairman Lee said, “Outstanding talents are the foundation for the sustainable development of our society,” adding, “To fulfill the corporate social responsibility, we will continue educational donation activities that contribute to nurturing future talents.” President Oh stated, “This development fund is a meaningful case where Daishin Financial Group has practiced social value by continuing the founder’s will at a time when the university’s value is being threatened,” and added, “The university will responsibly manage the donation.”
Daishin Financial Group has been conducting various projects through the Daishin Songchon Cultural Foundation, established in 1990, including ▲ scholarship and academic support projects ▲ national health support projects ▲ support projects for low-income and marginalized groups ▲ educational institution support projects.
