Equipped with 182 beds and comprising 12 departments including Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Interventional Neurology, as well as three specialized centers for Spine and Thyroid, Gangnam Bedro Hospital was promoted to a general hospital on the 21st of last month.
Gangnam Bedro Hospital has introduced advanced equipment for precise and specialized diagnosis and surgery, such as the 'O-ARM' capable of 3D spine imaging, the 'Aquillion One Nature Edition CT' with vascular image enhancement technology, and the 'Cubis Joint' robotic system for artificial joint surgery. Additionally, efforts have been made to upgrade to a general hospital by opening an emergency room to improve the emergency medical system and expanding rehabilitation medicine along with physical, exercise, and manual therapy rooms.
The ceremony was attended by Gangnam Bedro Hospital’s CEO Yoon Kang-jun, Administrative Director Yoon Min-ha, Honorary Director Kang Jun-gi, Spine Center Director Lee Chun-sung, medical staff, employees, and guests. In particular, officials from the Gangnam Fire Station, who work hard for community safety, were invited to express gratitude and celebrate the promotion to a general hospital together.
