Im Yeongi, Head of the Medical Service Innovation Division at KHIDI, stated, “Due to COVID-19, non-face-to-face medical consultations were temporarily permitted, and with the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT), interest and expectations regarding the potential of non-face-to-face medical care using digital technology in daily life have increased. As government-wide research and development (R&D) related to non-face-to-face medical care is also increasing, it is necessary to expand discussions on applying technological innovations to medical settings.”
