Dong-Eui University Holds the 7th Dong-Eui Dongrak (同意同樂) Project
Dong-Eui University held the 7th Dong-Eui Dongrak (同意同樂) Project, a major-related volunteer activity, on April 29 at the Dasarang Complex Cultural Arts Center.
Hosted by the University Innovation Support Project Group and organized by the Regional Collaboration Center, Dong-Eui Medical Center, and Dasarang Complex Cultural Arts Center, this event involved major clubs and performance clubs from nine departments, including the Department of Korean Medicine, conducting volunteer activities for local residents.
The Department of Fire and Disaster Administration provided safety education such as how to use fire extinguishers, the Department of Dental Hygiene offered education on proper tooth brushing and oral health, and the Department of Clinical Pathology conducted blood pressure and blood sugar tests along with infectious disease prevention education.
The Department of Human System Design Engineering provided smartphone usage education, the Department of Computer Software Engineering conducted voice phishing prevention education, and the Department of Leisure Sports offered home training education.
Additionally, the Department of Food Service Management made egg tarts to provide as snacks to residents, and the Department of International Tourism Management held a session for experiencing traditional costumes from various countries. The Department of Korean Medicine and Dong-Eui Medical Center conducted health consultations combining Eastern and Western medicine and acupuncture treatments.

Lee Minhong, director of the Regional Collaboration Center, said, “This event was organized to facilitate communication between university members and local community organizations with local residents,” adding, “We will strive to improve the quality of life for local residents through the formation of a community in the region.”
