‘Korean Companies Presentation’ Held at the 56th ADB Annual Meeting on the 4th
Choi Sang-dae, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, emphasized, “Korea aims to be the optimal partner in terms of technology, finance, and experience.”
According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the 4th, Choi Sang-dae, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, stated in his opening remarks at the “Korean Companies Presentation” held during the ADB Annual Meeting, “Korea will support large-scale projects through the creation of complex financing and investments utilizing various policy funds based on excellent technologies such as smart cities, eco-friendly energy, and future mobility.”
He continued, “Despite the decrease in future investment funds after COVID-19, this year we expanded trade finance and official development assistance (ODA) to the highest levels ever,” adding, “We will also actively promote complex financing linked with various policy funds such as the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and export finance, as well as PPP projects.”

The Korean Companies Presentation was organized to showcase the technological capabilities of Korean companies to the international community in conjunction with the ADB Annual Meeting. It aims to promote domestic companies to finance ministers, central banks, international organizations, financial institutions, and the media attending the meeting, thereby supporting their overseas expansion and further promoting industrial cooperation with Korea.
