The healthcare company Bodyfriend's new product, 'Medical Phantom,' surpassed 10 billion KRW in sales just 10 days after its launch. Sales exceeded 2,000 units, averaging one unit sold every 7.2 minutes.
On the 4th, Bodyfriend announced, "Medical Phantom, which began sales on the 23rd of last month, recorded 10 billion KRW in sales as of the 2nd," adding, "Considering that we operate nearly 30 different massage chair models, this is an unprecedented record for a single product."
From the 23rd of last month to the 2nd, Medical Phantom accounted for 50% of Bodyfriend's total sales. Bodyfriend explained that customers highly appreciate the fact that it offers full-body massage and lumbar disc treatment all at once. Medical Phantom is the latest medical device product released by Bodyfriend after three years.
Bodyfriend is conducting a large-scale promotion to celebrate the peak season of Family Month. There is also a '1+1 benefit.' When renting or purchasing the 'Phantom Robo,' customers receive a small massage chair 'Amigo' or a bed-type massage bed 'Air' as a gift. Both products are priced over 1.5 million KRW. Customers who rent or purchase Medical Phantom are given one voucher each for a free replacement of the leather seat on the back area and free relocation installation service to move the massage chair to a desired location. Additionally, by paying just an extra 10,000 KRW per month over 59 months, customers can receive an additional 'Amigo' or 'Air' unit.
