Event for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities Living at Amsa Rehabilitation Center
Family-Friendly Experience Spaces and Programs Provided at the Workplace
LG Electronics is creating special experiences and memories for children throughout its workplaces in celebration of Children's Day.
On the 4th, LG Electronics announced that it held the 'Today is Children's Day' event for children and adolescents with disabilities residing at the Daehan Social Welfare Association Amsa Rehabilitation Center in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. This event, resumed after four years due to COVID-19, was attended by about 80 people, including 38 children and adolescents with disabilities, LG Electronics employees who wished to participate, and members of the 'ESG University Student Academy.'
On that day, to support the physical activities and positive self-formation of children and adolescents with disabilities and to match their eye level, simple sports day games such as ▲rolling golf balls ▲shoe throwing ▲three-legged race ▲hula hoop passing ▲bingo game were held.
Changwon LG Smart Park will be transformed into an amusement park for employees and partner company families in celebration of Children's Day. On the 5th, about 6,000 LG Electronics and partner company employees working at LG Smart Park and their families will be invited to the event. Various playground equipment for children will be installed in spaces where employees usually pass through, and diverse programs such as ▲food making ▲block assembly ▲magic shows will be presented.

Meanwhile, LG Electronics is preparing various activities for families to enjoy together throughout its workplaces in May, the month of family. Magok LG Science Park and LG Electronics Seocho R&D Campus will hold family invitation events this month, providing play spaces and various family participation experience programs for employees' children working at those sites. Pyeongtaek LG Electronics Production Technology Institute will support a family glamping program through a lottery by collecting stories from employees.
