Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) urgently transported a foreign emergency patient from the sea at around 1:46 a.m. on the 3rd.

According to Mokpo Maritime Police, a report was received via Tongyeong Fishing Vessel Safety Operation Bureau that crew member B (in his 30s, Vietnamese) of vessel A (29 tons, registered in Tongyeong) was experiencing severe dizziness accompanied by chills near Boksacho, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do.
The maritime police dispatched patrol vessels and coastal rescue boats to swiftly transport the emergency patient B to Seomang Port in Jindo.
With the help of the maritime police, the emergency patient was transferred to a large hospital in Jindo for treatment.
