Changwon Special City Cancels Yongji Cultural Park Venue Due to Rain and Wind Forecast
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam changed the venue of the ‘Changwon Children’s Grand Festival’ from Yongji Culture Park to Changwon Gymnasium on the 5th, following the Korea Meteorological Administration’s forecast of rain.
Accordingly, the city announced on the 3rd that it will hold the ‘Changwon Children’s Grand Festival’ at Changwon Gymnasium to make the 101st Children’s Day a special day for children and their families.
Hosted by Changwon Special City, this event has prepared a variety of programs including a commemorative ceremony with the reading of the Children’s Rights Charter and awards for exemplary children and contributors to child welfare, as well as performances and hands-on experiences.
The main programs include ▲ Snag Golf, which children can easily learn and enjoy ▲ Robo Master experience combining coding play and artificial intelligence robots ▲ E-Sports competition ▲ Making natural detergent together as a family ▲ Various engaging experience zones for children such as chalk art, soap bubble play, and balloon art.
Additionally, due to the venue change, ‘119 Safety Experience’ CPR training, a fire safety promotion booth, and an emergency medical booth will be operated.
