Old Books into New... Busan Bank Hosts the '20th Citizen Book Exchange Festival'
BNK Busan Bank will hold the "20th Citizens' Book Exchange" at the outdoor plaza of the Busan Cinema Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 5th in celebration of Children's Day.
The "Citizens' Book Exchange," held alongside the "2023 50th Children's Day Grand Festival," is an event encouraging a reading lifestyle that has continued for 20 years this year.
At the book exchange, participants can swap books they have read with those read by others on-site. Three books that one has read can also be exchanged for one new book or one cultural gift certificate worth 5,000 won. However, participation in this book exchange event is limited to up to 10 books that one has read.
This year, about 500 high-quality books, including the selected titles of the "2023 One Book One Busan Book of the Year" for infants, children, and adolescents, have been prepared as exchange books.
Along with the book exchange event, a "Sprout Pot Making Experience Booth" will be open to provide natural experience activities and various attractions.
