"Please Use for Low-Income Children" ... Bae Byeong-il Scholarship Foundation Chairman Donates 15 Million Won
The Korea Student Aid Foundation donated 15 million KRW from its social contribution fund on the 2nd to support children and adolescents living in welfare blind spots.
This social contribution activity was planned to provide cultural experience opportunities to vulnerable children whose guardians' economic activities have been restricted and who have been affected by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

View original imageSince 2012, the Korea Student Aid Foundation has been operating the employee volunteer group (Smart Angels KOSAF) and has carried out various social contribution activities such as study room improvement projects and one-on-one after-school tutoring for children and adolescents using welfare facilities.
Especially this year, in collaboration with the Daegu Social Welfare Council, the foundation plans to support the cultural experience activities most desired by children and adolescents using six welfare facilities in Dong-gu, Daegu, to help promote their healthy growth.
Byung-il Bae, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, “Along with various student aid programs, we will also strive in social contribution activities to ensure that vulnerable children have access to diverse educational opportunities.”

In addition to this event, the Korea Student Aid Foundation continues active social contribution activities in the Daegu area by addressing educational welfare blind spots, such as providing meals to children suffering from food insecurity during school vacations, supporting abused children, and assisting children undergoing long-term leukemia treatment and local people with disabilities.
