Cultural Tourism Web Platform 'PungPung Yeohaeng' Relaunch Celebration, 'Failed Travel Photo Contest'
Entries Accepted from May to June, Various Prizes Including Tourism Magnets and Puzzles Awarded by Drawing
Pohang City will hold the 4th event, the ‘Failed Travel Photo Contest,’ to commemorate the revamp of the cultural tourism web platform ‘Ppangppang Travel’ for two months from May 1 to June 30.
This event was planned to incorporate the friendly image of so-called ‘failed travel photos,’ which capture humor and cheerfulness rather than the intention to take a perfect ‘life shot’ at travel destinations, into Pohang tourism.
During the event period, anyone can easily participate by submitting photos through a Naver form and answering simple questions.
Pohang City will present various prizes to participants through a drawing, including ▲D-cut Award (tourism magnet) ▲C-cut Award (tourism puzzle) ▲B-cut Award (tourism scratch & seed pencil), among others.
Park Sang-jin, Director of the Convention Tourism Industry Division, said, “We hope many people will create joyful memories with Ppangppang Travel through this event. In addition, we are making efforts to approach in a more innovative way, such as promoting activities at 10 universities to understand the needs of the MZ generation and appeal the charm of Pohang tourism.”
