According to the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station on the 25th, a fire occurred around 12:40 PM the previous day on the 16th floor of an apartment in Jinwol-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and was extinguished within 15 minutes.
As a result, most of the master bedroom was burned or scorched. The estimated property damage by the fire department is 4.51 million won. The sprinkler installed in the master bedroom operated, preventing the fire from spreading extensively.
There were no casualties, but some residents evacuated.
