Fire at Miryang Hanguk Carbon Plant 2, 8 Hours of Battle with Flames

A fire that broke out at around 4:57 a.m. on the 21st at the second factory of Hankook Carbon in Miryang, Gyeongnam, has not been extinguished even after 6 p.m.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the major fire was brought under control at around 11:08 a.m., showing an 80% containment rate, but it is expected to take a little more time for complete extinguishment.
