Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Plants Hope to Overcome Uljin Wildfire Damage
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Park Beom-su, hereinafter Hanul Headquarters) participated on the 21st in the "Donor's Forest Creation Commemorative Forest Ecological Restoration Tree Planting Event" to restore the forest ecology in the wildfire-affected area of Uljin.

View original imageHosted by the Korea Forest Service and the Korean Red Cross, and organized by the Korea Arboretum and Garden Management Institute, this tree planting event saw voluntary participation from Hanul Headquarters employees, who carefully planted each seedling with hopes that they would grow well and become a source of hope for local residents.
The Korean Red Cross is creating a 5-hectare "Donor's Forest" in the area of San 6, Sangdang-ri, Buk-myeon, Uljin-gun, using donations received from the public and corporations. Last year, Hanul Headquarters donated approximately 13.31 million KRW collected from employees and local residents.
