Jung Jin-sang, former Chief of Political Coordination Office and a close aide to Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, will stand trial while not in custody. On the 21st, the court granted bail to former Chief Jung, who is currently on trial in custody on charges including bribery under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.
