Seongnam City Recruiting Companies to Participate in Youth Major Utilization Project
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 25 companies to participate in the 'Youth Major Utilization Project' from the 24th of this month to the 4th of next month.
This project was established to provide practical work experience at companies for young people about to graduate from university, and to offer participating companies the opportunity to hire interns.
As a customized youth job creation project, 25 soon-to-be graduates from four universities in the Seongnam area?Gachon University, Eulji University, Shingu University, and Dong Seoul University?will participate.
Eligibility for company participation requires being a Seongnam-based company with five or more employees enrolled in employment insurance. Seongnam City will support 80% of the labor costs per youth for six months, up to a maximum of 1.6 million KRW based on the minimum wage.

Additionally, participating youths will receive extra credit when earning academic credits in the second semester of this year at their respective schools.
