'Tsuki Interview' Radio to Air First Broadcast in Japan on 8th... Introducing K-Culture
SUPER SCALE Company, in collaboration with Japan's Fuji Sankei Group's Kansai region radio station Radio Osaka (OBC) and Donuts (DOUNT), is launching a K-pop music broadcast program called K-pop Class 'Tsuki Interview,' which will air for the first time on the 8th.
Tsuki Interview is a K-pop music broadcast aimed at fostering cultural exchange between the two countries, introducing various aspects of Korean culture every week based on K-pop to the MZ generation who love K-pop in Japan.
The broadcast time is Saturday at midnight, the prime time for Japanese radio. It is strategically scheduled right before Japan's famous radio show 'All Night Nippon,' so it is expected to reach many Japanese listeners.
The main DJ of the broadcast is Tsuki, a Japanese member of the K-pop idol group 'Billlie,' who is also active as a music show MC in Korea. Tsuki spent her school years in Osaka, Japan, and debuted in Korea. While promoting K-pop music activities in Korea, Tsuki will also serve as a messenger introducing Korean culture in Japan. Following her comeback on the Korean stage in March, she is scheduled to debut in Japan in May. In July, she plans to appear on a Netflix variety show, actively working between Korea and Japan.
Although Tsuki Interview is broadcast in Japan, it is produced in Korea. The program mainly targets the Kansai region of Japan, including Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, and Nagoya, where the acceptance of K-content is high, as well as other major nearby cities. At the same time, it can be listened to throughout Japan via the radio web service Radiko.
