Business Agreement for Development of Golf Industry and Culture
Collaboration on Youth Golf Support and Event Tournaments
SmartScore announced on the 5th that it has signed a business partnership agreement with WLPGA, a retired women golfers' association, and will work together to promote the development of the golf industry.

WLPGA is a retired women golfers' association led by Ahn Si-hyun, who has one win on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour and two wins on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour. Members include Lee Jeong-eun 5, Kim Hye-yoon, Yang Su-jin, Kim Ja-young, Heo Yoon-kyung, Bae Hee-kyung, and Kim Da-na. They founded WLPGA in May last year and have supported young golf talents through charity golf tournaments and talent donations. Through this business partnership, WLPGA plans to take a more active role in promoting the development of the golf industry together with SmartScore.
Ahn Si-hyun, CEO of WLPGA, said, "I have developed great interest in SmartScore’s efforts to spread golf culture, such as the handicap index business," adding, "Through this agreement, we will actively utilize SmartScore’s golf-related resources and strive for the development of golf culture and industry."

SmartScore also expects to gain significant momentum in spreading golf culture through the business partnership with WLPGA, which is led by top retired players in Korea. A SmartScore representative said, "Supporting young golf talents, which is a key focus of WLPGA, is a very important task," and added, "We will provide maximum support using SmartScore’s resources to create opportunities for spreading golf culture."
