Korea Rail Network Authority Opens 'KR Technology Market' for Integrated Support and Management of Small and Medium Enterprises
The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 5th that it has established and will officially operate the ‘KR Technology Market’ platform.
This platform was built to provide integrated one-stop support for various projects, including support for new technologies of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the railway sector.
It supports the certification of registered technologies and products owned by companies, expands sales channels, and addresses new technology commercialization and promotion all within a single platform.
Previously, SME support projects such as ▲research and development tasks ▲purchase-conditional development tasks ▲railway new technology registration ▲provision of the Korea Rail Network Authority’s intellectual property commercial licenses were operated separately on the Authority’s website.
Because of this, companies had to endure the inconvenience of checking procedures and methods separately by field to participate in railway-related support projects.
However, with the full operation of the ‘KR Technology Market platform,’ companies will now be able to view the entire process from application submission to completion for all support projects at a glance through this platform.
