SK Expo Hosting Support Video Surpasses 10 Million Views in Just 10 Days
Support Campaign '2030 Miraeeseo On Request'
Records 400,000 Support Participations
The video for SK㈜'s Busan Expo hosting support campaign, '2030 Future Request,' surpassed 10 million views in just 10 days.
SK㈜ announced on the 5th that 400,000 support messages have also been collected on the campaign site.
The video featuring ‘AKMU’’s Chanhyuk, who is recognized as a futuristic artist through experimental performance, adopts a ‘Futuro (Future + Retro)’ concept that combines the future and the past, integrating the analog sentiment of ARS (Automatic Response System) requests.
The storyline follows Chanhyuk, who was heading to the Busan Expo site where his family awaits in 2030 on a hydrogen drone, but unexpectedly time-slips and lands in 2023. To return to the future, he must gather support messages from the public to secure the Busan Expo hosting.
The video highlighted the request-style phone number to pique curiosity, and after connecting the call, viewers can access the campaign site through Chanhyuk’s voice and guidance text to leave support messages.
Various figures from different fields who sympathize with the campaign’s purpose appeared in the Busan Expo hosting support relay videos. ‘Campbell Asia,’ who participated as a presenter in the candidate country competition PT held last November, and Busan’s mascot ‘Boogie’ have already posted support videos on SK’s YouTube channel. The trending girl group IVE and the Busan Expo ambassador, virtual human ‘Rosie,’ will also soon post support videos.
