Daishin Financial Group has stepped forward to sponsor research funding for rare intractable diseases. On the 5th, a donation ceremony was held at Samsung Seoul Hospital in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, attended by Lee Eui-ryong, Chairman of Daishin Financial Group, and Park Seung-woo, Director of Samsung Seoul Hospital.

View original imageThis sponsorship fund will be used for research funds in the Department of Pulmonology and the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Samsung Seoul Hospital. The donated research fund will be used for research on pulmonary fibrosis, one of the rare intractable diseases, and the development of molecular diagnostic methods for cancer diagnosis. A Daishin Securities official stated, “We decided to support this research fund to contribute to overcoming intractable diseases,” adding, “Daishin Financial Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through ongoing social contribution activities.”
