Capro Temporarily Halts Production at Ulsan Factory
Petrochemical company Capro announced on the 3rd that it will temporarily halt operations and conduct maintenance at factories related to the production of Caprolactam and UAN fertilizer.
The production suspension date is set for the 7th, and production is expected to resume on June 30.
Capro explained the reason for the factory shutdown as "to ensure safe factory operations in the future and to improve performance due to the decline in raw material prices."

Meanwhile, Capro's largest and second-largest shareholders were Hyosung TNC (12.75%) and Kolon Industries (9.56%), respectively, but after Hyosung TNC consecutively sold its shares on the market, the largest shareholder changed to Kolon Industries on the 27th of last month. Hyosung TNC's stake decreased to 7.37%.
