[Weather] Large Temperature Difference and Dryness... Rain Starting Tuesday Night
Monday, the 3rd, is expected to have very dry air and a large temperature difference between day and night.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration's forecast on the 2nd, a dry warning was issued for the Seoul metropolitan area, parts of Gangwon, and parts of Chungcheong. Dry advisories were also issued for many other inland areas.
The KMA stated, "During the day, winds will blow somewhat strongly, and in the Gyeongsang region, winds will be strong enough that small sparks can spread into large fires." They urged, "When engaging in outdoor activities, be cautious with fire use and spark management, prohibit burning of garbage and fields, and pay special attention to preventing forest fires and other fires."
In the Seoul metropolitan area, clear weather will continue until tomorrow, but clouds will increase from late at night, and from the day after tomorrow, rain is forecast to start in the evening. This rain is expected to begin from the southern regions such as Jeju on Tuesday, the day after tomorrow. From Wednesday, rain is expected nationwide, according to the KMA.
Tomorrow morning's lowest temperature is forecast to be between 3 and 11 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature during the day between 15 and 27 degrees Celsius. With good atmospheric dispersion, fine dust levels are expected to be between ‘Good’ and ‘Moderate’ across all regions. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.
