Yeongsangang Cheong, Seomjingang, and Other Bicycle Path Safety Accident Prevention
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office will conduct a safety inspection of the bicycle paths along the Yeongsangang and Seomjingang Rivers for four weeks from the 3rd to the 28th of next month.
They will inspect and repair facilities along the 268km long Yeongsangang-Seomjingang bicycle route (129km for Yeongsangang, 139km for Seomjingang) to prevent safety accidents for users in advance.
The main inspection items include the condition of key facilities such as pavement of the bicycle paths, drainage facilities, structures, traffic safety facilities, and safety railings.
Moon Jong-jin, Director of the River Division at the Yeongsangang Office, stated, “We will continuously maintain and manage the national river bicycle paths along the Yeongsangang and Seomjingang Rivers so that the public can use them safely and have a comfortable resting space.”
