Former Governor Nam Kyung-pil's Eldest Son Arrested for Methamphetamine Use Again Five Days After Warrant Dismissal
On the 23rd, it was confirmed that Nam Mo (32), the eldest son of former Gyeonggi Province Governor Nam Kyung-pil, who was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine use and released after the court dismissed the arrest warrant, was again caught by the police for using methamphetamine.
The Yongin Eastern Police Station in Gyeonggi announced on the 31st that they had urgently arrested and were investigating Nam Mo on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Nam is suspected of using methamphetamine once on the 30th at an apartment located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam City. At that time, Nam's family members inside the house reported to the police around 5:40 p.m. after Nam showed abnormal behavior.
The police who arrived at the scene urgently arrested Nam. It is known that a rapid drug test on Nam's urine showed a positive reaction for methamphetamine.
The police found several syringes believed to have been used for methamphetamine injection and requested an analysis from the National Forensic Service. They also requested drug tests on Nam's urine and hair samples from the National Forensic Service.
The apartment in Bundang where Nam used methamphetamine this time is different from the previous crime scene. It is known to be a place where other family members reside.
