On the 30th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it supplied pest control products to reduce damage to beekeeping farms caused by bee diseases.
The pest control products supplied this time include bee immune enhancers and medicines that can prevent mite infestations, Nosema disease, and American foulbrood.
The support targets are farms registered for beekeeping in Hampyeong-gun that are raising bees.
? The pest control products were selected from approved veterinary medicinal products, excluding items containing the same active ingredient used for two consecutive years and products with fluvalinate, which has been reported to have resistance against Varroa mites.
? A county official said, “To prevent bee diseases, please thoroughly read the product instructions and strictly follow the recommended dosage and usage methods.”
