Samsung C&T Fashion Presents Second Capsule Collection with Theory's Lucas Ossendrijver
Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 30th that New York contemporary brand Theory is launching a capsule collection in collaboration with Lucas Ossendrijver, who pursues modern apparel.
Following the success of the first collaboration with Lucas Ossendrijver, which debuted last fall/winter season, Theory has released its second capsule collection this spring. Dutch fashion designer Lucas Ossendrijver previously worked with Hedi Slimane, who led Dior Homme, and later served as the creative director of Lanvin Homme. This collection is part of the 'Theory Project,' aimed at advancing the brand through collaboration with talented individuals.
Through this capsule collection, Theory elegantly captures the spirit and movement of New York with flexible materials, practical details, and custom patterns. The collection emphasizes a mirror effect by unifying men's and women's styles in suits, jackets, and outerwear. It harmoniously uses vibrant colors such as blue, purple, and ruby red, along with toned-down gray, rich amber, and earthy green. Key items include short windbreakers and jackets, anorak outerwear, jumpers, zip-up shirt jackets, suits, knit pullovers, short-sleeve shirts, culottes, and asymmetrical midi and mini skirts.
The brand's first-ever sneakers highlight balance through a combination of functionality and premium cowhide leather. The styles are completed with various colors like lilac and cognac, reflective materials, and gentle curved designs. Featuring a genderless style, the outsole is made of bespoke rubber material. Theory's capsule collection consists of men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessories. It is available at Theory stores nationwide and Samsung C&T Fashion Division’s fashion and lifestyle specialty mall, SSF Shop.
