Exhibition and Prevention Content Contest Underway
The National Police Agency announced on the 30th that it plans to carry out various promotional activities in celebration of Cybercrime Prevention Day on the 2nd of next month.
Every year on April 2nd, Cybercrime Prevention Day is observed. It was established in April 2015 to encourage nationwide interest and participation in cybercrime prevention.
From the 31st of this month until July 2nd, a special exhibition on cybercrime prevention will be held at the Police Museum. A cybercrime prevention content contest will also be conducted. The contest will select a final 27 entries through expert judging and online public voting, and awards including certificates from the Commissioner of the National Police Agency will be given. Additionally, a dedicated website commemorating Cybercrime Prevention Day will be launched and operated.

Meanwhile, the National Police Agency emphasized, "We will conduct substantial promotional activities every year on Cybercrime Prevention Day to maintain the public's ongoing interest in cybercrime prevention," and added, "Professional instructors composed of cyber investigators will actively carry out cybercrime prevention education activities visiting schools at all levels."
