Department of Semiconductor at Dong-Eui Science University Receives Scholarship Certificate from 'Microchip Technology'
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a scholarship certificate presentation ceremony on the 28th for the Scholarship Program supported by Microchip Technology (Asia General Manager & Korea Representative Han Byung-don).
On the 28th, at the scholarship certificate presentation ceremony held in the university main building president's office, President Kim Young-do, professors and students from the Semiconductor Department are taking a group commemorative photo.

This year, scholarships were awarded to outstanding students from 14 universities nationwide, with Dong-Eui Institute of Technology being selected for the fourth consecutive year.
The selected students are Jeong Min-gyu, Lee Yoon-soo, Kim Tae-kwon, Jang Jae-wan, and Kim Sung-min, who have achieved excellent grades and outstanding results in microcontrollers such as AVR and PIC, as well as in the field of intelligent Internet of Things utilizing these technologies.
President Kim Young-do said, “We are very pleased that Microchip Technology, a global company, has awarded scholarship certificates to semiconductor department students,” and added, “We hope the students will continue to work hard and become outstanding talents.”

Department Head Jang Moon-seok of the Semiconductor Department stated, “In 2020, four students received scholarships; in 2021, five; in 2022, seven; and this year, five students will receive scholarship certificates,” and expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank Microchip Technology for supporting scholarships for four consecutive years, and we will strive to nurture students who can excel in various fields such as artificial intelligence, intelligent Internet of Things, and smart systems by utilizing microcontrollers like AVR and PIC.”
