Dongbu Construction Wins Road Construction Contract Connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai in Vietnam
Dongbu Construction announced on the 28th that it has won the contract for the 'Tan Van~Nien Chac Road Construction Section 2' project, ordered by the My Thuan Project Management Unit under the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam.

View original imageThis project involves constructing a 6.15 km long road connecting Ho Chi Minh City and the neighboring Dong Nai Province in Vietnam, building five bridges, and reinforcing soft ground. The total construction cost is approximately 60 billion KRW, including VAT. Dongbu Construction holds a 51% stake as the lead contractor. The construction period is 28 months from the start date.
Dongbu Construction has been actively expanding into overseas projects since 2021. Currently, it is carrying out the 'Mekong Riverside Comprehensive Management Project (Phase 2)' in Laos and the 'Flood Damage Reduction Project' in Cambodia.
Dongbu Construction plans to steadily secure orders by leveraging its competitive edge specialized in domestic public construction projects and actively participate in overseas infrastructure development projects. In particular, it intends to gradually increase the proportion of overseas projects by emphasizing its competitiveness in civil engineering fields such as roads, bridges, railways, and ports, where it has shown outstanding performance domestically.
