The county plans to actively promote this campaign in connection with this year's obesity prevention campaign, traditional Korean medicine projects, and dementia prevention programs,
and especially, since the mobile tuberculosis screening at senior centers last year received great response, this year they will carry out a visiting tuberculosis screening project to enable more elderly people to receive tuberculosis screening.

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “The best way to prevent tuberculosis is through screening, and if detected early and treated continuously, it is a curable disease,” adding, “The majority of tuberculosis patients are elderly aged 65 and over, so even if you have no symptoms or if a cough lasts more than two weeks, please make sure to get screened for tuberculosis at least once a year.”
