Dry Weather... Wildfires Occur in Incheon Ganghwado and Gangwon Hongcheon Areas
Dry weather with strong winds continued, causing wildfires in various parts of the country.
At around 2:44 PM on the 26th, a fire broke out near Manisan in Dongmak-ri, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, and firefighting authorities are currently working to extinguish it. No casualties have been reported so far.
Following reports from citizens who discovered the fire, the fire department issued an alert level "Response Level 1" at around 3:24 PM, mobilizing all personnel from the local fire station. A total of 102 firefighters and 27 pieces of equipment, including firefighting helicopters, were deployed to combat the fire.

Additionally, at around 3 PM on the same day, an unknown cause wildfire broke out in a mountain near the reservoir in Jawoon-ri, Yeongguimi-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province. Forestry authorities have dispatched five helicopters and 55 firefighting personnel to carry out extinguishing operations.
