Ding Xuexiang, the Executive Vice Premier of the State Council and a close aide to Chinese President Xi Jinping, stated that opening up to the outside world is an essential national policy for China.
On the 26th, Ding emphasized this to the CEOs of major global companies during his keynote speech at the China Development High-Level Forum (hereafter referred to as the Development Forum) held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. The Development Forum was held in person for the first time in three years since the Chinese government eased COVID-19 lockdown measures.
